Bishungarh, also known as Vishungarh, is a village in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh (UP). It is located in the Chhibramau tehsil of Kannauj district.

History

Bishungarh was included the administrative district of Chhibramau until 1997, when the Farrukhabad district was divided. Chhibramau and Bishnugarh were then included in the southern Kannauj region.

Politics

The Bishungarh village falls under the Assembly constituency of Chhibramau and Lok Sabha constituency of Kannauj. Both Assembly and "Loksabha" constituencies are in the unreserved category.

Agriculture

Potato, sugarcane, and tilhan (an oilseed) are the main agricultural products in the area. Raipura is one of the larger producers of potatoes in the area. It is connected to the Mainpuri district in the south.
