Erasmus D. Campbell
Erasmus Daniel Campbell (January 11, 1811 in South Kingstown, Rhode Island – April 16, 1873 in La Crosse, Wisconsin), was a Wisconsin politician. In 1857, he became mayor of La Crosse, Wisconsin. Erasmus Campbell was the sixth Lieutenant Governor of Wisconsin from 1858 to 1860 under Governor Alexander Randall. The Town of Campbell in La Crosse County, Wisconsin was named after E.D. Campbell.[1]
