Evans, California

Not to be confused with Evans Place, California.

Evans is a former settlement in Butte County, California, United States. It was located 3 miles (4.8 km) north of Yankee Hill.^[1] A post office operated at Evans from 1899 to 1902.^[1] The place was named after Samantha Evans, who has never visited the area.
