Fall On Your Sword is a film & commercial music production entity with offices in Los Angeles, California, and Brooklyn, New York.[1] It was founded in 2007 by London-born musician Will Bates, and a frequent collaborator is LCD Soundsystem guitarist Philip Mossman.[2][3] Fall On Your Sword's songs are represented by Downtown Music Publishing.
Career
Fall On Your Sword is primarily known for their work in film scoring and viral video mash-up creations. They've scored a number of independent films such as Another Earth, Lola Versus, Nobody Walks, 28 Hotel Rooms and We Steal Secrets: The Story of WikiLeaks. Prior to scoring films, they performed as a live band.[4] They sometimes still perform live at special events. Their last performance was at the KCRW Lounge at the Sundance Film Festival in 2013.[5] Their most popular video mash-up is titled 'Shatner Of The Mount'. It has amassed over 2 Million views.[6]
Fall On Your Sword also produces art installations.[7]
