Finnie is a locality in the Toowoomba Region, Queensland, Australia, located 11 kilometres (7 mi) from the central business district.[1]
History
A railway station in the area was named Finnie on 29 April 1915 after a studmaster. The station closed in 1989, and the suburb was officially named in 1999.[1]
