Galerie Lelong
Galerie Lelong is a contemporary art gallery in New York City and Paris. It was founded by Jacques Dupin, Daniel Lelong and Jean Frémon, opening in Paris in 1981 and a New York branch in 1985. Gallery directors are Jean Frémon, Daniel Lelong and Patrice Cotensin in Paris and Mary Sabbatino in New York.[1]
Artists
Galerie Lelong represents international contemporary artists recognized as forerunners of major art movements. These include Andy Goldsworthy (environmental art), Antoni Tàpies (Dau al Set), Lin Tianmiao ('85 Art New Wave Movement), Nancy Spero (Feminist art movement in the United States), and Yoko Ono (performance art).
In January 2016, P.P.O.W and Galerie Lelong, New York announced the joint representation of feminist artist Carolee Schneemann.[2]
