Grant is a town in Marshall County, in the northeast of Alabama. As of the 2010 census, the population of Grant was 896;[1] it is included in the Huntsville-Decatur Combined Statistical Area. The town incorporated in November 1945.[2]

Geography

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.8 square miles (4.7 km2), all land.[1] Grant is located on the plateau top of Gunters Mountain. A historical cave, Cathedral Caverns, is just outside Grant in nearby Woodville.
