Gugang, Liuyang

Gugang Town (simplified Chinese: 古港镇; traditional Chinese: 古港鎮; pinyin: Gugang Zhen) is an urban town in Liuyang City, Changsha City, Hunan Province, People's Republic of China.^[1] As of the 2000 census it had a population of 35,190 and an area of 154.2 square kilometres (59.5 sq mi).

The town is divided into 10 villages and 3 communities, the following areas: Taoyuan Community, Gugang Community, Gucheng Community, Fanshi Village, Xianzhou Village, Mianjiang Village, Zhongping Village, Meitianhu Village, Gaolian Village, Xinyuan Village, Yantang Village, Gangxing Village, and Baogaisi Village (桃园社区、古港社区和古城社区，范市村、仙洲村、沔江村、中坪村、梅田湖村、高联村、新园村、燕塘村、港星村和宝盖寺村).
