Jeebropilly is a locality in the City of Ipswich local government area and Churchill County of Queensland, Australia. This location is situated at the junction of the Ipswich - Rosewood Road and the Ebenezer Road, 42 km (26 mi) from the Brisbane CBD.
The origin of the name is from an Aboriginal word meaning flying squirrel gully.[1]
New Hope Corporation Ltd has restarted mining coal at its Jeebropilly coal mine, which it had previously closed in 2007.[2]
