Kahani Hamari...Dil Dosti Deewanepan Ki is a Television show that airs on &TV. The show stars Karan Wahi, Rhea Sharma and Reyansh Chaddha (Nikhil Chaddha) in lead roles[1] and aired on 16 May 2016 for the first time.[2] The show is telecasted from Monday to Friday at 7:30 pm (IST). The show is loosely based on the korean drama The Heirs, due to several similar scenes and situations.
Plot
The story revolves around 4 people named Shivin, Gauri, Ahan, and Kia. Gauri is a lower class girl who has a passion for education, while Shivin, Ahan, and Kia are rich kids of business parents. Shivin and Ahan were best friends until a series of miscommunications caused Ahan to get angry on Shivin, although it was never his fault. This causes Shivin to get angry on his mother thinking it is her fault, but the truth is she is also innocent. Gauri bumps into Ahan a few times, so they start to lightly recognize each other. On the other hand, Gauri and Shivin meets through some misunderstandings which causes Gauri to have a bad image of Shivin, but in reality, Shivin is a very down-to-earth guy who cares for people. The misunderstanding is soon sorted out when Shivin saves Gauri from goons and shelters her for a while in his house. During this time, Shivin and Gauri develop a strong chemistry and attraction towards each other, but they don't know themselves about it. Gauri somehow gets drunk and leaves the house which leaves Shivin worried and not sure what to do. Gauri leaves on the street and meets Ahan again, Ahan and Gauri then go on a short adventure as well until Gauri decides to go home, and both go on their own tracks. In this time, Kia is introduced. Kia is a spoiled brat who uses her name as a way of showing her superiority in money and items than others. Kia is also a friend of Ahan and Shivin, but loves Shivin. Her mother gets her engaged to Shivin without his consent, even though Shivin does not like Kia like that. Soon, Gauri gets kidnapped, Shivin and Ahan find this out and get together to find her which shows the audience that they have developed soft spots for Gauri. Kia gets kidnapped by the same people and this is where Kia and Gauri meet each other. Kia shows attitude towards Gauri, but Gauri ignores her and doesn't care about her money or wealth. Kia doesn't like Gauri because of this reason. Shivin and Ahan act like girls and come into the den where they are held captive, but they find out that Kia and Gauri have already ran away. Ahan and Gauri fight the goons and meet Kia and Gauri where they run together into a jungle. (Through the whole kidnapping scenes, Shivin shows more concern for Gauri even though Kia is also there.) Ahan accidentally bumps into a lady doing a ritual and the village orders him to marry her, which angers him and he rejects her. So the whole village hold the group hostage in their house. Shivin and Gauri have moments together again where Shivin falls onto Gauri. The whole village starts to taunt Shivin and Gauri for being the perfect couple, this angers Kia. Eventually, the 4 get out of the village and go their own ways back to Mumbai. In this time, Shivin can't stop thinking about Gauri and Gauri can't stop thinking about Shivin. When she goes back, Gauri finds out that her mother sold the house for money and now she lives in a servants quarter. Her mother brings her there and gets permission for Gauri to live in the servants quarter with her. The house turns out to be Shivin's house. They have incidents where Shivin sees Gauri, but he thinks he is imagining. Soon, Gauri finds out that she was not accepted in her favorite college (Imperial College) as they ran out of funds. This college is where rich kids go including the place where Kia, Shivin, and Ahan are going. Gauri still goes to the college for a job at least where she is taking care of the kids coming to the grand ball party into the college. In this party, Gauri encounters Shivin, Kia, and Ahan where Kia talks rudely to her and Shivin gets shocked. Ahan decided to taunt Shivin in the party to get him angry and uses Gauri for it. Gauri comes to take the order for Shivin, but Ahan drags her to his table(next to Shivin) and makes her write his order first, which is a REALLY long list of food and doesn't stop taunting Shivin. Kia thinks he is insulting her, but he isn't. Gauri gets confused because she is just a waitress in the party and they move her back and forth to take the order. Gauri tries to take the order of Shivin, who is calmly sitting listening to the insults, but Ahan pulls her back and rips Gauri's shirt. This angers Shivin and he gets up to yell at him. Sensing that a fight is happening, Gauri comes in between, but Ahan and Shivin accidentally shove their hands back and Gauri falls back into a table, hurting her. This angers Shivin a lot more, and the school deen comes to break the fight and yells at both. Shivin and Ahan go home and Ahan starts thinking about ripping Gauri's shirt and using her. He feels bad and so does Shivin. Both try to get her address, but she bluntly refuses and says she has nothing to do with both of them. On the other hand, the news broadcasts the fight and says that both were fighting for the waitress. However, the news couldn't get a picture of the waitress which calms Gauri down because she doesn't want her mother to know. Because of the news, Gauri finds out that she is living in Shivin's house. She tries hiding from him on many instances. Then one day, the lights go out and Gauri accidentally enters Shivin's room at the same time he enters Shivin enters the room. Shivin senses someone in the room and when she slips, he holds her. When he says sorry, she hears his voice and says sorry as well. Shivin recognizes her voice and says Gauri? And she says Shivin? And the lights turn back on. She explains to him that she lives in his house and her mother is a maid at his house.
