The storyline saw great advances in the second season once the actresses were promoted to the main cast. They are seen making out on Brittany's bed in "Duets" and also make reference to the lesbian sex act of scissoring. In "Sexy" Santana finally professes her love for Brittany and later admits that she is a lesbian. Brittany is thought to be bisexual or pansexual. Hiram and LeRoy Berry are Rachel's fathers. Unique is a transgender member of the rival Vocal Adrenaline show choir who identifies as female. She joins New Directions in season 4. |
