Maddilapalem is an area of Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India.
It has a major road junction of three roads called the Maddilapalem Junction, among the busiest in the city. The roads leading from the junction lead to Asilmetta, Dwaraka Nagar, and Madhurawada. There are many notable institutions and organizations that include AU College of Engineering, VS Krishna College, Ashok Leyland Auto Manufactures, Jayabheri Maruthi Institutions etc. Kalabharathi auditorium is at Pithapuram Colony close to Maddilapalem Bus Station.

Maddilapalem is one of the major commercial and residential suburbs in Visakhapatnam. The Visakhapatnam BRTS connects Maddilapalem to Asilmetta. Maddilapalem was an initially a small suburb outside of Visakhapatnam.
