Miss Uganda or (traditionally known as Miss Uganda World) is a national Beauty pageant in Uganda.
History
Miss Uganda started in the 1967 and had participated at the Miss World since that year. The pageant is running on Ministry of Agriculture directorship which sets to choose the next Miss Uganda basing on agriculture and this is intended to interest the young people into the sector.
In 2014 the army, Gen Salim Saleh has appointed to be the national director to Miss Uganda.[1]
