Phyllodesmium orientale is a species of small sea slug, an aolid nudibranch, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Facelinidae.
Distribution
The distribution of Phyllodesmium orientale includes Japan.[2][1] The type locality is Ishigaki, Okinawa, Japan.[1]
Description
The length of the slug is 25 mm.[2]
This species contains zooxanthellae.[2]
Ecology
Phyllodesmium orientale has been found on soft coral Xenia[2] so it can be probably its food.
