Pixie Hollow is a character meet and greet attraction at Disneyland and Hong Kong Disneyland offering guests the opportunity to greet with Tinker Bell from the Disney Fairies franchise.
Disneyland version
In October 2008, Disney Park opened a "Pixie Hollow" location at Disneyland near the Matterhorn Bobsleds in the area where Ariel's Grotto was formerly located.
Magic Kingdom version
The other was at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom in Mickey's Toontown Fair, but it closed in February 2011 as part of the ongoing Fantasyland expansion. A larger area was included in the original plans for the expansion, but they have since been abandoned.
On July 28, 2011, Tinker Bell and her fairy friends returned to the Magic Kingdom in "Tinker Bell's Magical Nook", located at the Adventureland Veranda. When it closed on May 20, 2014, she was moved to the Town Square Theater where she can greet guests without her fairy friends.
Hong Kong Disneyland version
An alternate version opened at Hong Kong Disneyland on January 21, 2011 as one of the festivities in its 5th anniversary celebration.
In 10th anniversary celebration, a new version has been a part of Fairy Tale Forest (an entrance between The Garden of Cinderella and The Garden of Little Mermaid), a new walk through attraction opened on December 17, 2015.[1] It's down the twinkling golden path and through a series of oversized topiary mushrooms and clovers, amid the large toadstools, towering flowers and tall blades of grass. See Tinker Bell's inventions here, a berry crusher, acorn cap paint holders, her hammer and a chair made of leaves. Fairy sound effects can be heard throughout the day, and at night, the surrounding flowers and plants that grow high above guests' heads light up Pixie Hollow.
