Rampurhat subdivision is a subdivision of the Birbhum district in the state of West Bengal, India. It consists of Rampurhat municipality, Nalhati municipality and eight community development blocks: MayureswarI, MayureswarII, RampurhatI, RampurhatII, MuraraiI, MuraraiII, NalhatiI and NalhatiII. The eight blocks contain 65 gram panchayats. The subdivision has its headquarters at Rampurhat.

Area

Apart from the Rampurhat municipality and Nalhati municipality, the subdivision contains rural areas of 65 gram panchayats under eight community development blocks: MayureswarI, MayureswarII, RampurhatI, RampurhatII, MuraraiI, MuraraiII, NalhatiI and NalhatiII.[1]

MayureswarI block

MayureswarI block consists of rural areas with nine gram panchayats, viz. Baraturigram, Dakshingram, MollarpurI, Bajitpur, Jhikodda, MollarpurII, Dabuk, Kanachi and Talowan.[1] Mayureswar police station serves this block.[2] Headquarters of this block is in Mallarpur.[3]

MayureswarII block

MayureswarII block consists of rural areas with nine gram panchayats, viz. Daspalsa, Kaleswar, Mayureswar, Ulkunda, Dheka, Kundola and Satpalsa.[1] Mayureswar police station serves this block.[2] Headquarters of this block is in Kotasur.[3]

RampurhatI block

Rampurhat — I block consists of rural areas with nine gram panchayats, viz. Ayas, Dakhalbati, Kusumba, Bonhat, Kasthogora, Mashra, Barshal, Kharun and Narayanpur.[1] Rampurhat and Margram police stations serve this block.[2] Headquarters of this block is in Rampurhat.[3] rampurhat-i block

RampurhatII block

RampurhatII block consists of rural areas with nine gram panchayats, viz. Bishnupur, HansanI, MargramI, Budhigram, HansanII, MargramII, Dunigram, Kaluha and Sahapur.[1] Margram police station serves this block.[2] Headquarters of this block is in Rampurhat.[3] SITUATED AT MARGRAM

MuraraiI block

MuraraiI block consists of rural areas with seven gram panchayats, viz. Chatra, Gorsha, Murarai, Rajgram, Dumurgram, Mahurapur and Palsa.[1] Murarai police station serves this block.[2] Headquarters of this block is in Murarai.[3]

MuraraiII block

MuraraiII block consists of rural areas with nine gram panchayats, viz. Amdole, KushmoreII, PaikarI, Jajigram, Mitrapur, PaikarII, KushmoreI, Nandigram and Rudranagar.[1] Murarai police station serves this block.[2] Headquarters of this block is in Paikar.[3]

NalhatiI block

NalhatiI block consists of rural areas with nine gram panchayats, viz. Banior, Haridaspur, KaithaII, Barla, Kalitha, Kurumgram, Bautia, KaithaI and Paikpara.[1] Nalhati police station serves this block.[2] Headquarters of this block is in Nalhati.[3]

NalhatiII block

NalhatiII block consists of rural areas with nine gram panchayats, viz. BaraI, BhadrapurI, Noapara, BaraII, BhadrapurII and Shitalgram.[1] Nalhati police station serves this block.[2] Headquarters of this block is in Lohapur.[3]
