Christology

Robert Letham is Professor of Systematic and Historical Theology at the Union School of Theology, formerly Wales Evangelical School of Theology.[1] He is also Adjunct Professor of Systematic Theology at Westminster Theological Seminary.[2]

Letham's academic education started with a B.A. (Hons.) in Politics awarded by University of Exeter in 1969. He then gained a P.G.C.E. in 1971 from the University of Nottingham. He moved to Westminster Theological Seminary earning a M.A.R. and Th.M. in 1975 and 1976 respectively. His Ph.D. came at University of Aberdeen in 1980.[3]

He entered the Presbyterian Ministry at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church, Whippany, New Jersey from 1981 to 1986; also holding a similar office as Senior Minister at Emmanuel Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Wilmington, Delaware for 17 years.

His teaching career has seen him teach theology at London School of Theology, Westminster Theological Seminary Reformed Theological Seminary (Washington DC/Baltimore). More recently holding a visiting role as Professor of Theology at Reformed Theological Seminary, Baltimore & Washington, D.C., from 2001 to 2007 and similar at Westminster Theological Seminary between 1981–1986 and since 2001. Currently he is Senior Tutor in Systematic and Historical Theology, Wales Evangelical School of Theology a position he has held since 2007.

He is additionally Visiting Professor, Doctor of Ministry Program at the Ligonier Ministries own Reformation Bible College.[4]
