Sarah Reich (born May 24, 1989) is a tap dance instructor, choreographer and performer. [1] She is best known as a featured artist for Postmodern Jukebox, touring the U.S. and Europe in both 2015 and 2016.[2][3][4] In addition to performing tap-percussion solos with numerous featured vocalist, [1] her rendition of a Star Wars medley was featured in Slate and People magazines.[5][6] She appears alongside vocalist Sara Niemietz in London, for an MTV, Postmodern Jukebox feature shoot, covering "Ex's & Oh's" in 2016.[7]
Featured in Dance Spirit Magazine's, “20 Hot Tappers Under 20” in 2009, Reich is widely recognized in professional dance circles.[8] As a member of Chloe Arnold's Syncopated Ladies, they won the eleventh season's dance crew battle, and she performed in the eighth season with Jason Samuels Smith Tap Co.[9] In 2015, The New York Times, Gia Kourlas, praised Reich's presentation at Tony Waag's "Tap Forward" at the Tap City festival.[10]

The concert had an almost vaudevillesque variety show feel, with a lot of action on stage and perfomers – especially bassist/singer Casey Abrams from “American Idol,” tambourine man Tim Kubert and tap dancer Sarah Reich, getting silly at times and emcee LaVance Colley directing things with wit and style.

The folks at Postmodern Jukebox have a new video out, but this time around there’s no old-timey cover of a new-fangled tune. Instead, we get a dance—specifically, a tap dance, one that sees renowned tapper Sarah Reich shuffle and shimmy her way through the Star Wars soundtrack

Sarah was featured in an article titled “20 Hot Tappers Under 20” in Dance Spirit Magazine, and selected as one of the top 25 dancers to look out for in 2009 in Dance Magazine. Sarah received an award for Performing Artist of The Year at the 2005 OMNI Awards. She has also been featured in numerous television shows including So You Think You Can Dance, the Jerry Lewis Telethon, Secret Talents of the Stars, and Sabado Gigante.

Recently Sarah was seen as a guest performer on FOX’s Hit Television Series, "So You Think You Can Dance" with Emmy-Award Winner Jason Samuels Smith’s tap company, Anybody Can Get It (ACGI). She is also a member of Chloe Arnold’s Syncopated Ladies and is the Artistic Director of her own company, Tap Con Sabor with the goal to expose tap to the Latino community throughout Los Angeles and abroad. For eight years, Sarah has worked alongside her mentor and tap legend, Harold Cromer teaching at numerous tap festivals and events. Previously she extensively trained with Cyd Glover, Paul & Arlene Kennedy and Becky Twitchell studying technique, performance, musicality and improvisation, making Sarah one of the most well-rounded tap dancers in the business.
