The Serbian Orthodox Diocese of Central Europe (German: Serbische Orthodoxe Diözese für Mitteleuropa), officially renamed in 2011 as Serbian Orthodox Diocese of Frankfurt and all of Germany, is a Serbian Orthodox Church diocese in Germany.[1] It has its headquarters in Hildesheim-Himmelsthür, Germany.[2]

Until 1990, all Serbian orthodox churches in Germany belonged to the Serbian Orthodox Diocese of Western Europe. At the end of 1990, new diocese was created and named Serbian Orthodox Diocese of Central Europe. After the reorganization in 1994, jurisdiction of the diocese was confined to Serbian churches in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.[3]

By July 2011 new Serbian Orthodox Diocese of Austria, Switzerland and Italy was created and the Diocese of Central Europe was reduced to the territory of Germany, and renamed to Serbian Orthodox Diocese of Frankfurt and all of Germany. In 2014, Sergije (Karanović) was appointed as new Serbian Orthodox Bishop of Frankfurt and all of Germany.[4]
