The snowy grouper (Hyporthodus niveatus) is a species of marine fish in the Serranidae family. It is found in the Caribbean Sea and Gulf of Mexico neighborhood: in Aruba, the Bahamas, Belize, Bermuda, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, French Guiana, Grenada, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Netherlands Antilles, Nicaragua, Panama, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, the United States, and Venezuela.
