Tasek Gelugor is the Bertam highway town that is located in North Seberang Perai, Penang, Malaysia. The town is situated no further from the Malaysia longest North South Line only. Many of the students here are studying in the Butterworth City schools, where the opposite city of Penang City is via the Ipoh-George Town Line. The expressway sign of the Ipoh-George Town link will be seen in this town.
There is also connecting roads to Kulim, Penang Matriculation College, Penaga, Lunas and Bukit Mertajam from here.
There is also a river near here named Sungai Jarak. Tasek Gelugor is also near to Kampung Selamat, Penang and Padang Serai, Kedah. The Penang-Kedah state border is also very close at here like Kulim and Bukit Mertajam compared to Sungai Petani and Kepala Batas.
Here is also can be said near Butterworth town by some of the people. A new railway station is also completed here for serving people here and Padang Serai to Bukit Mertajam and Sungai Petani.
