The Gift of Christmas (En Vogue album)
The Gift of Christmas is a Christmas album by American female group En Vogue, released on October 8, 2002 by Discretion Enterprises. It is the group first holiday album, featuring brand new christmas tunes as well as covers of classic holiday songs. The album was produced and arranged by long time collaborators Thomas McElroy and Denzil Foster, co-produced by Timothy Eaton. The Gift of Christmas features vocals by new group member Amanda Cole, which would be her only sole album with En Vogue.
Content
The album includes two bonus versions, a rock and an instrumental version, of the song "Jingle Bells". There is also a bonus version of What Child Is This?, prayer version and vocal version.[1] The song "This Christmas" is an original En Vogue song, not to be confused and entirely unrelated with the holiday standard "This Christmas" by Donnie Hathaway.
