Nizampet, is an active village situated in Quthbullapur mandal, Ranga Reddy district of India. Now it has become one of the fastest-growing suburbs around the IT corridor of Hyderabad, because of its affordability and relatively pollution-free environments. The area has lot of water problems & water tankers are always seen there delivering water to homes & commercial establishments.

The place is surrounded by several giant constructions including flats and villas. There are many colonies in this place where houses and flats are built independently. Because of the silent and upcoming townships, Nizampet Village is becoming a very popular place for living. Like Kukatpally Housing Board, the entrance of Nizampet road is occupied by people from all the regions of the Telangana state.

If you are residing in Nizampet and applying for passport, select district as Cyberabad while submitting online passport application.

The proposed Outer Ring Road of Hyderabad is very close to this village.[1]

Commercial area

Nizampet is close to Kukatpally, Bachupally and Miyapur, which are hubs for all the shops and big commercial establishments. There are plenty of shops and supermarkets like Heritage Fresh@, MORE,& Vijetha on the two sides of the Nizampet-Bachupally road. The Heritage Fresh@, MORE,& Vijetha are also located in Nizampet Village.

Metro Cash & Carry has its store at Moosapet, about 9 km away. But is restricted for businesses only.

Nizampet Road has plenty of hospitals, Metro Hospital a multispecialty hospital is situated in the centre of the village and the major - Apollo have started clinics in the road along. There are two Apollo clinics in the Nizampet Road at 1 km, 3 km from the start respectively. And Nest Children Hospital near Hanuman Temple. Well known pharmacy retailer Medplus started near Hanuman Temple. Akruti Institute of Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery which is hardly 4 km from the main centre and is known for world class cosmetic surgery facilities in Hyderabad, India.

Nizampet Village is a commercial hub for the nearby colonies. You will see lots of shops related to food and clothes near Hanuman Temple.

Problems

Nizampet Village has many colonies that primarily face the problem of water scarcity and residents of these colonies usually complain of dried borewells and poor municipal water supplies. There is no MLA or Government representative in this area to take care of illegal water connections/supplies as it is a huge profitable business for them. People living at Nizampet brought this problem to Govt authorities several times but no action has been taken so far. This scarcity of water has led to migration of families to other nearby localities like Bachupally and Miyapur.

The roads used to be pathetic some time ago, but now Nizampet no more struggles with bad road especially in Rainy season. People are happy with the new roads. Nizampet is only struggling with water problem. If that's taken care by the respective people, it will be booming majorly.

Nizampet colonies

Brindhavan Estates, is one of the oldest duplex housing societies in Hyderabad, located on the way to Nizampet, approx. 0.5 km from the main Junction And Balaji Park Town Which is located near hanuman temple is a duplex community with more than fifty houses and four magnificent buildings. There is also a colony called jaya-bharath nagar. which consists very less independent homes and lots of apartments. it is located at the first right of entering the nizampet road. the colony is peaceful by itself.

One more good and peaceful colony called 'Balaji Nagar', which is located at Opp SBI Bank line and consists of very huge apartments in this colony. At present nearly 60 Apartments are existing in 'Balaji Nagar'. Every year colony people gather and conduct the Ganapathi Navarathulu and other celebrations.

'Srinivasa Housing Society', 'Narayana Reddy Huda Colony, 'Tirumala Nagar', 'Kolan Tulasi Reddy (KTR) Colony, Balaji Hills','Srinivasa Nagar Colony', 'Prashanti Hills' are one of the fast-growing colonies of Nizampet, Quthbullapur Mandal, Ranga Reddy district. At present in KTR Colony Nearly 60 Apartments are existing and some other apartments are under construction. Recently Sri Vinayaka Nagar colony is established on 6th Feb,2013 .[2]

Transport

Nizampet is connected by TSRTC which runs Bus 231M(Which runs every hour like 3.15 PM,4.15PM ....) that connects to Secunderabad and some others to Hyderabad. There is 10N which runs from Sec'bad station to Nizampet Village & Nizampet Junction to Bachupally. The 287N connects koti and nizampet. The closest two MMTS Hyderabad stations are at the Hitech City Railway Station in Kukatpally Housing Board and the Hafeezpet Station. Proposed Metro terminal and Intercity bus terminus at Bachupally are in proximity of Nizampet.

The 195 route runs every 30 min from Bachupally-Waverock, Manikonda via Nizampet Village, JNTU, Hitech City, Infosys, wipro, DLFconnects most of the IT corrider.
