Nová Ves u Nového Města na Moravě is a village and municipality (obec) in Žďár nad Sázavou District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 6.33 square kilometres (2.44 sq mi), and has a population of 606 (as at 28 August 2006).
Nová Ves u Nového Města na Moravě lies approximately 12 kilometres (7 mi) east of Žďár nad Sázavou, 40 km (25 mi) north-east of Jihlava, and 135 km (84 mi) south-east of Prague.
Trivia
The name literally means: New Village by New Town in Moravia. It is the longest place name in the Czech Republic, with 26 letters and 7 spaces.[1]
